May I please express my thanks at the generosity of all the people who donated presents for the animals at the Festive Weekend organised by The Friends of Bath Cats and Dogs Home. It is people like you that make the difference to the many abandoned and stray animals cared for at the Home.
For the cats we received over almost 300 pouches of food, over 20 tins and 8 boxes and bags of dry food. The dogs were given almost 20 bags of dry food, and over 150 tins.
There were dozens of bags and boxes of dog treats and chews as well as loads of squeaky toys. For the cats there were plenty of furry balls, ‘mice’ as well as little tit-bit treats. They will have a very enjoyable time with all that.
My wicker box is still up at the Home ready to receive any more gifts, but I will not be there to thank you in person.
